Bittrex Global cryptocurrency exchange will stop providing services to clients from Belarus and Ukraine, as well as 5 other countries. The company attributed this decision to “regulatory reasons.” The changes will take effect in 14 days, however, the deposit and withdrawal of fiat funds for users from these jurisdictions are no longer available. This is stated in the screenshot, which is distributed on the network. There is no official confirmation of the information from the exchange yet.

Clients were recommended to exchange the assets remaining on the site for available for withdrawal and withdraw them to an external wallet within two weeks. After that, the accounts will be disabled. Also on the list, in addition to Belarus and Ukraine, are Burundi, Mali, Myanmar, Nicaragua, and Panama.

Bittrex Global is the European arm of the American Bittrex exchange. It launched last October to replace Maltese’s Bittrex International, also targeting international clients.
