The New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) has published a green list of digital assets that licensed companies will be able to work with without additional permits.

Assets in it are divided into two categories: permitted for storage and permitted for listing.

The first regulator classified Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum Classic, Binance USD, Gemini Dollar, Pax Gold, and Paxos Standard.

The second category includes the same assets with the exception of Ethereum Classic and Ripple.

Any licensed entity can use green-listed coins for “permitted purposes” but must inform the NYDFS in advance, the regulator said.

Recall that in June, NYDFS decided to relax the rules for licensing cryptocurrency companies.
